1. Storage Limitation
1. Storage Limitation

While Google Photos already has
a storage management section,
it's somewhat hidden under settings. By
making this option visible right when users
open Photos. Give users a clear, instant
summary of their storage usage every
time they open the app.

user can manage their storage directly
either one by one or all together at once!

This option lets users see real-time updates
while their data is being backed up.
It shows where their files are going and how
much storage is being used or remaining.

3. Organization challenges
3. Organization
challenges
To address users’ organization challenges in Google Photos, I introduced a "Folder"
option designed especially for travelers and photographers. On this screen,
users first select their photos, then tap the Folder option to neatly organize them.
On this screen, users can add a title to their folder, with
AI-powered suggestions to make naming faster and more personalized.
Once the folder is created, users can click on "Organize Folder"
to open it. Inside, they can create subfolders to further categorize
their photos. While creating subfolders, users can add titles with suggestions.
AI can also help by automatically creating multiple subfolders based on the content
for example, recognizing a trip to Japan and suggesting subfolders like Tokyo, Koyoto etc.
Now, users can view their subfolders, each showing the images neatly
organized inside the main folder.

Understanding that some memories can be sensitive, I added options to help users manage
the such as hiding photos and videos related to a particular person or deleting specific
memories they no longer wish to see.
